Course on Optical Measurement Technique with Telecentric Lenses

Inside the paper we can find description such as telecentric, error, pinhole camera, diffraction, magnification ratio, image plane, distance, magnification, ray, and camera. This paper presents things around optics, linear camera, intermediate image, central projection, pupil magnification ratio, aperture, optical system, image, projection, and optical measurement.

There are many discussion around imaging, intensity distribution, telecentric systems, spatial depth, focal point, camera model, edge detection, afocal systems, lens, and object are explained inside the paper. These are some excerpt from the paper:

This course on optical 2d-measurement technique has been created during the development of the telecentric lenses from Schneider-Kreuznach. First of all we had the idea to explain to the “non optics expert” the differencies between normal lenses and telecentric optical systems by introducing the laws of perspective (Chapter 2). But in the course of writing it became very soon evident that we had to deal with more then only explaining the laws of telecentric perspective.

In addition, this paper presents information around projection center, light, axis, approximation, measurement, telecentric perspective, focus, measurement techniques, and image space.
