This paper presents interim results of a research project part funded by the DETR under the Partners In Innovation scheme to investigate measurement methods appropriate for setting minimum fresh air rates in mechanical ventilation systems. A range of potential measurement techniques are outlined together with preliminary advice of which may be most appropriate.
