The Hall Effect Sensors have many application areas such as various protection circuits, analysis of magnetic field or current distribution. However, the most widespread application field of the Hall Effect sensors is the current sensing. If current sensing will be analog, linear Hall Effect sensors are preferred. The Hall sensor is placed to air gap of core for sensing magnetic flux. When current is passed through the conductor placed inside of the core, magnetic flux arises from current in the core and the Hall sensor generates a voltage proportional to the current. The linear response of sensed current is rather convenient for control feedback circuits
